Privacy Policy

Calibration Flow is published by Tristan Sidem, sole proprietor (French "entrepreneur individuel" / micro-entreprise), registered under SIREN 528 977 275, registered address 1 passage Dagorno, 75020 Paris, France. Contact: tristan.sidem@gmail.com.

This policy describes the data processed by the Calibration Flow app and website (web, iOS, macOS), in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data we collect

  • Account — your email address, and depending on your chosen sign-in method, your Google or Apple (Sign in with Apple) identifier. We never receive your Google/Apple password: authentication is delegated to these platforms.
  • Content you create — calibration curves, presets, HD media (imported or scanned target/print photos), generated images. This content is stored so you can retrieve it and sync it across your devices.
  • Subscription — your subscription status (free or Pro), StoreKit transaction identifiers (iOS/Mac purchase) or Stripe identifiers (web purchase). We never receive or store your card number: payments are processed directly by Apple or Stripe.
  • Analytics — via Google Analytics (anonymized browsing statistics, pages viewed, referral source).
  • Bluetooth (optional feature) — if you use the connected UV lamp control feature, the Bluetooth communication stays local between your device and the equipment: no data related to this feature is sent to our servers.

2. Why we process this data

  • To provide the service and sync your content across your devices (contract performance);
  • To manage your subscription and billing (contract performance);
  • To measure and improve usage of the service (legitimate interest, with consent for non-essential cookies);
  • To respond to your support requests.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell any data. It is processed by the following processors, required for the service to function:

  • Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database (Firestore), media storage, hosting, analytics;
  • Apple — authentication (Sign in with Apple), in-app payments and subscription management (StoreKit) on iOS and macOS;
  • Stripe — Pro subscription payment on the web version.

4. Quota and retention

Cloud storage is capped (300 MB on the Free tier, 5 GB on Pro). Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete a media item, curve or preset at any time from the app; deletion propagates to all your connected devices.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, write to tristan.sidem@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in France, the CNIL — www.cnil.fr).

6. Cookies

The website uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics). A consent banner lets you accept or decline these non-essential cookies on your first visit.

7. Security

Communications are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your data in Firestore and Firebase Storage is restricted by server-side security rules that only allow each user to read and write their own data.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated; the last-updated date is shown at the top of the page. You will be notified in the app of any significant change.
