What it does

A timer that turns the LED on and off. Really.

Physical trigger

You enter your exposure time in the app, you start. The Bluetooth signal physically turns on the panel’s UV LED — you press nothing else.

Automatic cut-off

At the end of the timer, the app sends the shutdown command. The LED turns off with no manual action, even if you are not next to the panel.

Multi-device control

Start the timer on your iPhone: the Mac connected over Bluetooth to the same control plug receives the command and turns on the LED. Both stay synchronised.

Safety

Three safeguards, no tinkering.

Automatic cut-off at 30 min
If you accidentally exceed a 30-minute timer, the app blocks sending the command. The LED never turns on for an uncontrolled duration.
Connection heartbeat
The app sends a regular presence signal to the controller. If the Bluetooth connection drops mid-exposure, the controller detects the missing heartbeat and cuts the LED.
Automatic reconnection
On a temporary Bluetooth loss (movement, interference), the app reconnects with no action. The timer syncs to the panel’s real state.

Platforms

✓Native iOS app — full Bluetooth access via CoreBluetooth. Works on iPhone and iPad.
✓Chrome or Edge on desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux) — via Web Bluetooth. Mac without a dedicated app: use Chrome or Edge, not Safari.
✗Safari iOS / macOS — Safari does not support Web Bluetooth. Use the native iOS app or Chrome on desktop.
✗Firefox — no Web Bluetooth support.
